Dream Journaling

According to Psychologist Sigmund Freud, dreams are symbolic images which relate to the fulfillment of our subconscious wishes. By analyzing dreams, our repressed thoughts are revealed to us and we can get to know our inner desires, hopes, and fears better.

When we gain a deeper understanding of ourselves, we can begin to address and resolve issues we didn’t even know we had. Only then can we begin manifesting the dreams and goals that truly matter to us.

A dream journal bridges the gap between sleep and wake, between the unconscious and the conscious. Writing about our dream first thing in the morning is a fantastic process of mind exploration. This practice can reveal insights about ourselves and bring clarity into our lives.

Set An Intention

To begin, set an intention before you go to sleep. Tell yourself that you will dream and that you will write it down when you wake up. Connect this intention with a crystal to aid your practice and assist in dream manifestation.

Use Crystals

Crystals clear your state of mind so you can expel negative energies before hopping into bed. Their healing properties calm and cleanse your space so you can reprogram your brain and get a good night’s sleep.

Labradorite  - is great for sparking dream recall. This is helpful when you are only starting the habit of dream journaling. Place the Labradorite on your nightstand next to your dream journal before you get into bed.

Quartz is a powerful tool that helps in amplifying intentions and manifesting desires. When you have decided on what you want, you can add more quartz to your dream journaling ritual.

Throat Chakra crystals improve your written communication. Use Tourmaline and Topaz to help you get your thoughts down into paper and be more honest with your dream journal.

If you have sleep problems like nightmares, insomnia, or sleep apnea, you can place Amethyst, Selenite, or Tiger Eye under your pillow.

Write Daily

The moment you wake, write down keywords that will help you remember your dreams. Don’t worry so much on the details and instead, focus on how you felt during the dream.

Let your intuition guide you into noting the images and symbols that truly matter. Make this a habit until it naturally comes to you. The more you do journal, the easier it will be to take your dreams out of your head and into the real world.

Dream journaling is a practice that allows us to gain more insights about ourselves. Using crystals to tap into your unconscious give you the power to redirect your inner thoughts and lead you to the life you desire.
